John Drummey is the Chief Operations Officer at MWCWB. Previously, he served for twelve years as a Senior Analyst in Audit and Oversight at the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General.
Prior to that, he was President and Managing Partner of StickSafe LLC, a startup venture of proprietary technology designed to meet the need for improved needle safety among health care workers. He is a co-inventor of three patents granted to the company. Under his management, StickSafe enacted an exclusive licensing and technology agreement with Kendall Healthcare, a division of Tyco International Ltd., a multi-billion dollar, global healthcare leader.
From 1988 through 1998, John owned and operated a retail food corporation, which he later sold to Dunkin Donuts Corporation. He worked for ten years as Operations Manager at Bay Colony Paper Corporation, a large hospital, institutional and food service distributor.
He is also Chief Operations Officer of Family Care Partnership, LLC, an early childhood, mental health organization. He is a Board member of the Boston Chapter, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and a member of the Institute for Internal Controls.
