Aldona Vainiuis, CNP has built a nursing career specializing in psychiatric care, initially as a Staff Nurse at McLean Hospital's Pavilion and Short-Term Unit. Her focus involved aiding adults in crisis, ranging from 18 to 70 years old. During her tenure at McLean Hospital, she pursued her master’s degree at Boston College, completed her internship at the Counseling and Assessment Clinic of Worcester.
Post-graduation, Aldona transitioned to the role of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at the Counseling and Assessment Clinic of Worcester. Here, she devoted herself to assisting clients aged 6 to 70, employing a multifaceted approach that encompasses prescribing and managing Psychiatric Medication, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Quantum Therapeutix (QT).
Aldona's professional philosophy revolves around empowering clients living with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Mood Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD).
